Assistant Director Market Access Portfolio Strategy 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Assistant Director of Market Access Portfolio Strategy are to: 

 

The Assistant Director of Market Access Portfolio Strategy will be responsible for development, rollout, and monitoring of market access programs, tactics, and resources across portfolio of growth brand.  This person drives the creation and execution of the Account Management Plans of Actions (POAs), supports “Surround Sound” initiatives and partnerships to improve access.  Drives overall brand goals utilizing Market Access levers (ie HCP-level pull-through and push through), including training of Customer Engagement team members.

  • Drives the development of Cross Channel Market Access launch plans, marketing programs, tactics and account management resources for growth brands for all Market Access customers and stakeholders;
  • Collaborates with Account Management to identify key customer segment insights and innovative opportunities for customer engagement;
  • Directs vendors, budget, and PRT submissions and approvals for Market Access tactics;
  • Ensures all programs and activities are conducted in accordance with Bayer Legal and Compliance policies, clinical strategies, and Pharma industry regulations;
  • Represents Market Access in Cross functional initiatives as a key contributor to overarching brand strategy and tactical execution Support the Market Access efforts to co-create and execute against brand goals;
  • Leads execution of brand missions involving Market Access levers, notably pull-through and push-through of access positions at HCP level;
  • Supports “Surround Sound” activities with medical, advocacy, government relations, and strategic partners.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values.  More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree;
  • Experience working in Market Access or experience working on Market Access projects;
  • Experience developing and securing approval on marketing/market access materials, preferably including pull-through;
  • Experience managing agency partners.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience;
  • At least 5 years related work experience in pharma, biotech, market access agency/consultancy, or healthcare industry OR PharmD with at least 3 years related experience;
  • MBA, PharmD or Consulting.

 

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $132,244 to $198,367.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..  This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
