Mechanical Engineering Staff

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and manage capital investment items: Plan budgets and lead each project to completion
• Introduce and ensure reliable, safe operation of process equipment by identifying, evaluating, specifying, and selecting equipment. Resolve asset and process issues, and conduct reliability analyses, including root cause analysis and failure mode and effect analysis, to enhance equipment reliability
• Coordinate safety and reliability inspections: Schedule and support plant safety and reliability inspections
• Support HSE practices: Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments to enhance plant safety
• Maintain engineering documents: Develop and maintain documents like P&ID, equipment lists, manuals, and flow sheets
• Provide technical training: Offer training on the operation and maintenance of process equipment
• Support maintenance activities: Assist in maintaining process operations and improving equipment reliability and performance
• Management of engineering-related purchase system activites ( SAP ), investment-related system activites ( SAP ), and fixed asset-related tasks

WHO YOU ARE:

• University degree or above
• Certification in process safety (e.g., TÜV Rheinland FS Engineer) is a plus
• Should have at least four years of experience in Chemical or similar industries, with the position(s) close to production and/or engineering
• Familiarity with Siemens PCS 7, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software
• Previous experience leading global projects and collaborating with diverse international teams
• Effective communicator capable of engaging with multiple stakeholders and guiding technical teams
• Should have strong command of listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English (TOEIC 730 or more preferred)
• Japanese: N4 or above
