Weed management, Pest & Disease Management in Rice

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize, plan, manage and follow-up all herbicide field trials and Insecticide and Fungicide Trials for rice (in house and outsourced)
• Analyze the results, provide judgement, and lead further action regarding global, regional, and local projects
• Organize the project meetings with Product team, Technical support team, RS and GF to discuss the plan, the progress and the direction of herbicide projects
• Cooperate with the RS in order to obtain fast and appropriate pesticide registrations
• Support local Technical support team through the technical knowledge and field or lab trials
• In the field season, give instruction or advice to field agronomists in order to correctly carry out the relevant trials
• Actively communicate with and support Korea teams as a NEA ASM
• Train commercial team by technical basis about the products

WHO YOU ARE:

• University degree or above
• At least 3 years experience in development in the crop protection industry
• Broad and deep technical knowledge regarding agriculture and experience in field trials
• A lot of experiences in agrochemical development
• Good understanding of the business challenges with a highly innovative spirit
• Coordination and prioritization ability to respond to many requests regarding biological field trials from internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to convince the colleagues based on own expertise and technical outputs in the trials and project managements
• Fluency in Japanese and business level English
