Role Purpose

// The Warehouse Coordinator will ensure on-time and cost-efficient delivery of finished goods to customers by collaborating with country management, Warehouse and Distribution leadership to adopt relevant plans and execution of the Warehouse and Distribution Operations procedure to allow a safe and economical warehousing and Distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

// Administer Inventory movement in SAP and the DC [owned and 3PL] ensuring adherence to FEFO/FIFO, Inventory Accuracy, Stock keeping and compliance

// Execute auxiliary warehouse activities regarding D&O /expired stocks handling, Exceptional labelling, Re-labelling postproduction complaints & returns handling and waste in line with the procedures and warehouse instructions

// Ensure effective, efficient and productivity operations in all distribution and warehouse activities so as to deliver the desired costs and savings

// Perform any other duties assigned by the line Manager

// To store and control all raw and treated seed in the warehouse

// Assist with Inventory management-seed storage and stacking

// Able to drive a forklift and perform loading and offloading activities

// Work with casual workers on all warehouse operations

// Ensure good housekeeping in the warehouse

// Support and coordinate with service providers contractors at the site

// Support fumigation of seed and pest control in the warehouses

// Organize loading and off-loading of seed from Processing Plant and imports

// Support seed destruction processes on all written off seeds as approved

// Carryout safety activities in the warehouse per OSHAS18001 procedures

// Adhere to forklift safety procedures

// Support in inventory control through weekly and monthly counts

// Updating of stock cards real time

// Report any non-conformities in the Warehouse

// Work closely with Warehouse Specialist

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

// Diploma in logistics /distribution. A degree is an added advantage

// 3 years' experience in  Distribution &Warehousing

// Mandatory Computer Literacy with SAP Knowledge

// Handling the Seed and Agri-input chemicals is advantage

// Driving license

// Written, verbal, and presentation skill set  

// Excellent organization and time management

// Intermediate level of English speaking
