Key Account Manager Morocco
Major Tasks:
- Generate sales by developing and delivering key account plan by customer.
- Establish tactical plan based on the Commercial Operational Plan, priorities in close collaboration with all departments.
- Understand the key account business and market dynamic
- Ensure a consistent customer experience from all Bayer departments (MD, credit, customer service, etc) leading to loyalty
- Follow up sales results, orders and shipments on a daily basis
- Ensure all data are properly collected to drive variety advancement/drop recommendations and/or FAB's on NVI's and market extension
- Develop data based that would enable us to be the first choice in the eyes of the customer through SFDC platform
- Collaborate cross functionally to maximize services, information, demand creation and sales to preferred customers
- Support the marketing and MD strategies, activities, demand generation and sales activities for the Kas/Distributors SuperviseP&L for the KAs
- Identify customers’ needs to offer them 360° solutions, both from the crop/variety side but also considering a broader scope
- Identify Key opinion leaders/influencers and main decision makers to drive sales and gain market share
- Maintain transparency and full communication through account plans in CRM
- Actively participate in defining partnerships, implement marketing events and coordinate with MD for a successful Trial plan Forecast demand for 36 months for each variety
- Optimize sales performance and adapt to market dynamics within the DSO framework
- Credit management of the customer (assure in time payments, collect default interests)
- Handles quality complaints/claims.
- Provide 36 months horizon forecast to secure proper seed production and allotment
- Anticipate trends, analyse customer needs, competitors strategy and market opportunities
- Plan regular distributor visits
- Comply with laws, regulations and good business practices
Background, Skills and Experiece:
- Degree in agronomy or similar
- Solid agricultural knowledge and understanding of local market environment (5+ years of commercial experience)
- Strong customer focus, with bias to the demand generation
- Previous operational experience in customer facing positions
- Result Oriented, Team Player in a Compliant environment
- Digital skills Demonstrated influencing, collaborative and leadership skills
- Ability to drive results in a complex environment
- Strategic mindset: Manage complexity and Ambiguity
- Business insight and full knowledge of the whole vegetable industry
- Excellence in communication, both internally and externally Strong result orientation towards goals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & organization skills.
- Quick learner, flexible and adaptable to new environments
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point )
- Fluent in English, French and Arabic
