Business Analyst Intern 

 

As Business Analyst Intern you will support the Performance Management strategy and roadmap within EMEA SCM, to ensure a data driven culture in the entire Supply Chain. Next to that, you will support acceleration and engagement for reporting in the area of SCM. You socialize all efforts and support the digitalization and development of data standardization and data governance. You will do this in an experienced team of global and regional IT Partners. You will be guided by an experienced Simulation and Analytics manager. Besides that, you will be working with Finance/controlling and commercial teams. Lots to learn! The internship is based at our office in Amsterdam and we give you the possibility to do (a part) of the internship online.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You are a team player that supports to pursue a modern, data driven Supply Chain vision to meet business and enhance the customer experience. Your other tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, a data centric mindset and build strong & trustful relationships with stakeholders to accomplish business goals.
  • Participate in regional and global performance management projects
  • Assist in creating high-quality documentation, guides, manuals, and tutorials
  • Support to identify correct data sources in a changing environment together with global IT teams
  • Stay informed of industry trends and explore new tools and technologies
  • Leverage data and insights to help driving digitalization in SCM functions to increase efficiency and solutions. You apply Lean methodology and mindset aiming for standardization and best practices
  • Enable and encourage the organization to explore new tools and technologies

WHO YOU ARE

With an open mindset to experiment, you seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches. Also:

  • You are studying towards BA/MA/MBA degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Informatics, or a related field
  • You are available from February 2023 for at least 6 months
  • You have a data stewardship mindset and a data integrity focus
  • Some experience in Business Management and/or Supply Chain; cross functional work in a culturally diverse team (preferably)
  • Preferably some technical skills, such as: BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), SQL
  • You have a high customer focus and drive for results, outstanding analytical skills and the ability to trouble-shoot outstanding communication
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and any other European language is a plus
