Where do you want to go?
Shape the next generation of growth
Are you a commercially minded marketer who enjoys turning consumer insights and emerging opportunities into meaningful growth?
We’re looking for a Marketing & Innovation Brand Manager to help shape the future innovation pipeline for our New Zealand business, identifying, validating and commercialising opportunities across our Consumer Health portfolio.
This is not a traditional Brand Manager role. With a strong focus on innovation, commercialisation and future growth, you’ll work across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Medical, Supply and regional and global teams to take opportunities from initial concept through feasibility, business case development, launch readiness and post-launch learning.
You'll also provide focused support across selected in-market brand and customer activations, giving you the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on commercial execution
Do something that moves you.
- Build and prioritise a pipeline of short, medium and long-term growth opportunities for the New Zealand market.
- Turn consumer, customer and category insights into compelling propositions and commercially viable innovation opportunities.
- Develop robust business cases covering market potential, pricing, investment, margin, supply requirements and expected growth.
- Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Medical, R&D and Supply to assess feasibility and accelerate the strongest opportunities.
- Lead the commercialisation and go-to-market planning of approved innovations, coordinating key milestones from concept through to launch.
- Drive launch readiness, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and actions required for successful execution.
- Support priority brand, category and customer activations, using performance insights to optimise activity and identify further growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage innovation pipelines, assets and learnings, helping position New Zealand as a test-and-learn market for future growth.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a commercially astute marketer who is equally comfortable working with insight and strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to get things delivered.
- Around 5+ years’ experience across marketing, innovation, commercialisation, category, portfolio strategy or new product development.
- Experience within Consumer Health, OTC, FMCG or another complex or regulated commercial environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience building or challenging business cases and launch assumptions.
- An understanding of consumer insights, market and category data, positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
- The ability to take an ambiguous opportunity and turn it into a structured recommendation and clear action plan.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- A strong compliance mindset and sound commercial judgement.
Experience within OTC or regulated product launches, including claims, packaging or registration activity, would be particularly valuable, as would exposure to regional or global innovation pipelines and working across Australia and New Zealand
