Expert - Sourcing Support (French Language) 

POSITION PURPOSE

The Procurement Operations expert-level French-speaking professional will support end-to-end procurement processes, ensure accurate price updates, handle PR to PO conversions, oversee post-PO activities, and contribute to content creation and vendor master data (VMD) management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Price Update: Monitor and initiate price updates in procurement systems, align with demand owners and suppliers, support calculation index-based updates, additional approvals, documentation, and ensure readiness for processing.
• Sourcing Adjacent: Support tail spends optimization and approvals, assist in system content maintenance, provide initial analysis and reporting, and handle supplier and stakeholder queries.
• Digital & Analytical Capabilities: Use procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba) and analytical tools to validate data and prepare reports.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Support collaboration with business requesters, country partners, and suppliers through clear and impactful communication.
• Operational Support: Provide support in various operational activities such as order price, pay term validation, checks in SAP, PO reopening for necessary adjustments, and handling quotation requests to ensure the best supplier selection.
• Supplier Selection and Negotiations: Challenge and select suppliers while negotiating better terms and conditions, particularly for higher-value items
• Contract Management: Support activities related to contracts, including amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the contracting process.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Language proficiency: Native or fluent French speaker with excellent communication skills in English.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement operations or supply chain management with focus on strategic sourcing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Effective communication and collaboration, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Other Skills: Accountability, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
