Lead AI Engineer 

POSITION PURPOSE: We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced AI Engineer to spearhead our AI Engineering initiatives in India. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with extensive proficiency in machine learning models, natural language processing, computer vision, and other cutting-edge AI technologies. You will set the strategic direction, define architectural best practices, and champion the role of AI Engineering in driving our business priorities. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• AI Solution Development: Drive the strategic vision for AI Engineering, leading cross-functional teams in designing and implementing advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business challenges. Oversee the development and deployment of scalable AI products that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
• Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to architect robust, scalable data pipelines, enhancing data access and processing capabilities. Lead initiatives in data preprocessing and transformation across hybrid environments, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
• Data Science: Mentor team members in model training processes, focusing on achieving accuracy and reliability through experimentation and iterative improvements. Lead model evaluation and tuning to enhance predictive capabilities.
• Integration and Deployment: Direct the integration of AI models into existing software systems, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience. Define and implement best practices for deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Collaboration and Communication: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate complex AI concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research and Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and contribute to enhancing team capabilities through research and experimentation. Act as a leader in exploring new AI techniques and approaches for future projects.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Educational Background: You hold a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: You have a proven track record as an AI Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer, with extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI systems.
• Leadership: You have shown impact through leadership in previous roles. Colleagues appreciate your coaching and mentoring. Ideally, you have helped building up organizations.
• Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, with strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Skills: You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Your organizational skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
