Global Job purpose
The Source to Pay (S2P) Center of Expertise (CoE) AI & Automation Expert works closely with S2P GBS Leadership, PRO stakeholders, and IT (including external partners) to translate the global S2P strategy into practical, scalable digital initiatives.
The role contributes to value creation across S2P by analyzing processes and applying digital technologies, automation, and AI‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and user experience. The focus is on adapting processes to what technology can enable, rather than simply layering tools onto existing ways of working. This role demands a deep understanding of digitalization, automation, and the transformative impact of technology on business operations. The ideal candidate will act as a thought leader, helping shape the organization’s approach to technology integration and fostering a culture of innovation within S2P.

Key tasks and responsibilities
• Lead comprehensive analyses of current S2P processes to identify and prioritize opportunities for digitalization, automation, and AI enablement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends
• Lead the design and implementation of process improvements that leverage advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to identify automation opportunities, understand end-to-end processes, assess feasibility, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking
• Drive the delivery of automation and digital initiatives by leading cross-functional teams and ensuring measurable value for the organization
• Act as a catalyst for change by cultivating a positive culture shift within the S2P organization and championing the integration of new technologies and methodologies
• Leverage insights from the external environment and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making, enhance user experience, and drive value generation
• Develop a deep understanding of the implications of AI on S2P processes and advocate for its responsible implementation, ensuring ethical considerations and long-term impacts are prioritized in all technology initiatives

Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences and personal characteristics necessary for success)
- Professional experience in procurement, accounts payable, or end‑to‑end S2P processes
- Experience or exposure to digital transformation, automation, or AI‑enabled solutions
- Hands‑on experience building AI agents, ideally using Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio (e.g., prompt design, grounding, action orchestration, connecting to business data) — including proofs of concept and prototypes
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Copilot for M365, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams)
- Strong analytical skills, including process analysis and root cause analysis
- Interest in innovation, technology, and process excellence
- Experience working in international or cross‑functional environments
- Strong collaboration, influencing, communication, and presentation skills
- Languages: Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
