Veeva Cross-Vault Operations Specialist 

 
   
   

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Veeva Platform within Bayer’s IT Technology and Engineering function  enables our Business Functions to gain competitive advantage through advanced process and data integration and ultimately helps patients through Bayer's products. 

Our contribution is the provisioning and maintenance of state-of-the-art IT platforms and architecture based on deep business process and technology knowledge. To reach our objectives we collaborate with our colleagues in the Commercial (incl. Medical Affairs) and R&D (Research & Development) domains of Clinical Development & Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management in continuously improving and transforming our solution portfolio. 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

We are looking for a Veeva Cross-Vault Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to support our team. The main tasks of the position include:

  • Support and co-delivery of changes affecting multiple Veeva Vault instances

  • Support and drive operational changes in a multi-Vault enterprise landscape in reagrds to domain setting, user access, and SSO setup in alignment with defined standards and processes. 

  • Track, document, and follow up on cross-instance operational activities to ensure timely and compliant delivery. 

  • Support the preparation of operational impact assessments for new releases, features, and configuration changes. 

  • Help identify opportunities for operational improvement, standardization, and more efficient support processes. 

  • Contribute to a collaborative environment across product teams, platform teams, and service partners. 

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree in science or information technology 

  • Certified Veeva Vault Platform Administrator  

  • Proven experience working with Veeva Vault applications 

  • Preferable business domain knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry, e.g. in Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality or Commercial 

  • Solid understanding of IT architecture principles and ability to balance theoretical guidance and efficient delivery 

  • GxP expertise is a plus 

  • Strong communication, presentation and decision-making skills  

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
