YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other machinery used in agricultural production.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment, adhering to maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, diagnosing issues and implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness among colleagues and contractors.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in training machine operators and providing guidance on best practices for equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as required, contributing technical expertise and insights to achieve departmental goals.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the similar industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software systems (SAP) for work orders and inventory control is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels within the organization.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls outside of regular shifts as needed.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  • Ability to use Auto CAD software.
