Business & Consumer Insights Manager 

 
   
   

Purpose:

The Business & Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for delivering actionable insights through comprehensive data analysis to support strategic decision-making for Category and Customer teams. This role involves preparing market share updates, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying challenges and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making, delivering actionable recommendations and drive business growth to answer relevant business questions and offer market insights for Iberia. Additionally this role can support Media manager in the optimization and setup of media campaigns.

Part of BAP Team and also part of Business & Consumer Insights team (BCI) and also connected with Media manager to support and optimize all media campaigns

Key Tasks:

1. Conduct Data Analysis and implement measurement framework

  • Analyze market and BCH category and Brand Performance data, sales figures, and consumer and Customer behavior / insights to drive actionable insights that support Category and Customer teams.
  • Utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance vs Market and Competition.

2. Insights development 

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data/ insight gathered to generate actionable insights that inform business strategies.
  • Assess the alignment of insights with BCH Strategic goals and objectives, providing crucial insights  to customer and category teams to fine tune the activation and strategy
  • Play an “internal consultant” roles in Category and Customer teams in identify Where to Play choices to optimize business impact and How to win strategies across touchpoints and channels leveraging on consumer and customers insights gathered and learnings coming from strategy execution

3. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs related to sales performance (i.e. sell in, sell out, trends, ms, evi….),   market penetration, activities execution Tracking, resource allocation efficiency (ROI) and customer / doctors engagement.
  • Analyze trends to identify challenges and opportunities, providing timely insights to drive business performance.

4. Develop and Implement Media Measurement Framework

  • Design a robust media measurement framework that evaluates the effectiveness of digital campaigns across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for campaign success.
  • Conduct regular assessments of media performance and report findings to relevant stakeholders.

5. Identify Challenges and Opportunities for improvement

  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover underlying issues affecting performance and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with Category and Customer teams to align insights with business objectives and initiatives.

6- Deliver Actionable Recommendations and support in Strategic Decision-Making

  • Synthesize findings from data analysis and market research into clear, actionable recommendations for Category and Customer teams.
  • Support category and Customer teams in setting KPIs and present insights and recommendations to measure strategy effectiveness

7- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Foster strong relationships with Category, Customer, Teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide analytical support and contribute to strategic discussions.

8-Stay Informed on Industry Trends

  • Monitor trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide context for insights and recommendations.
  • Share relevant industry insights with stakeholders to inform strategic initiatives.

Qualification & Competencies (studies, languages, skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, digital media (strategic, executional and measurement), market research, or a related field, preferably within a multinational FMCG company.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, social media analytics platforms) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI…), valuable also experience in programmatic platforms (DV360, TTD), social & search platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Tik Tok etc), retail media
  • Ability to understand stakeholders needs and build effective analysis
  • Ability to translate data into insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple campaigns, analysis and tasks simultaneously by defining relevant KPIs effectively, ensure proper tracking and follow-up to assess performance and drive continuous optimization.
  • Business Acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and consumer insights is a plus.
