CORE Value Stream Manager Receive to Deliver (m/f/d) 

 

The CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) program is a game changer for Bayer as we strive to become the best in class in the industry. It aims to develop and introduce an end-to-end (e2e) business, enabled by a state-of-the art and resilient technical backbone which enables Bayer to deliver a seamless experience for our customers, suppliers and employees. CORE is a multi-year, strategic Business-led, IT-enabled global program that will facilitate our transformational journey. We are searching for passionate, diverse, and courageous people who want to be part of our cross-divisional and cross-functional team.  

 
The primary aim of this role is to establish industry-leading processes in the area of Materials Management, Inventory management, Intercompany supply, internal/external tolling and CMO Planning, Warehouse Management, Site Logistics, Delivery & Transportation. Achieving standardized practices across divisions will require close collaboration with the respective Value Stream Leaders (VSLs) and Value Stream Managers (VSMs) within the Supply Chain Value Stream and beyond. 

Tasks: 

  • Exchange with peer VSM to identify best practices across divisions and other industries 

  • Lead and collaborate with peer VSMs, solution design team and subject matter experts to design, build, govern, and support the CORE template solution build and deployments 

  • Actively engage with business value stream owners, value stream leads and subject matter experts to validate business processes, data, controls, and security solutions 

  • Adopt and adhere to Agile principles and values 

  • Ensure CORE synchronization & integration with OMP and other satellite systems 

  • Closely support multiple deployments while ensuring the CORE solution integrity and adherence to CORE guidelines, e.g. key capabilities, objectives, key results, design decisions, process and data integrity, etc.

Global/ Regional/ country cross divisional Supply chain community 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 7 years of experience in operational and leadership roles  

  • Comprehensive expertise of supply chain processes, encompassing demand planning, distribution planning, and production planning. 

  • Comprehensive supply chain experience in the life sciences industry, including the food, crop science, and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as specialized areas such as radiopharmaceuticals and biotechnology.. 

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to motivate stakeholders across organizational teams to collaborate 

  • Organizational skills for planning, supporting, or leading projects.  

  • Experience working within or collaborating with consulting for business integration 

  • Ability to influence, persuade and collaboratively build relationships with interface partners and stake holders 

  • Technical knowledge in operations systems preferably in S/4 HANA in the area of Supply Chain Management and Product Change Management 

  • Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Management, logistics and related tools (e.g. SAP R/3, APO, WMS, TM, Product Change Management) 

  • Very good understanding of triangulations models, tolling models and requirements resulting out of the different tax models
