Change Manager 

 

POSITION PURPOSE: 

As Change Manager, you will deliver Change Management as a Service for medium-scale projects and cultural transformations, translating strategic objectives into practical, measurable adoption plans aligned with Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO)  principles and Bayer’s mission. You will craft and implement stakeholder engagement, sponsor roadmaps, communications, coaching guides, training and resistance-management approaches, using structured change methodologies and Agile practices to keep plans adaptive and collaborative.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate Change Management as a Service for organizational, medium-scale change projects, including Change Projects, Transformation Programs, and Cultural Change Initiatives;
  • Design change management strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize resistance to change, focusing on collaborative strategies to enhance effectiveness;
  • Craft and enact change management strategies that are adaptable to evolving business needs and aligned with our mission-focused approach;
  • Create actionable deliverables aligned with DSO principles, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching guides, training modules, and resistance management strategies;
  • Apply structured change management methodologies with a DSO lens to analyze, evaluate, design, and implement strategies that foster a dynamic and collaborative environment;
  • Utilize DSO-focused metrics to assess the impact and success of change initiatives, ensuring they contribute to Bayer's overarching mission and vision;
  • Continuously monitor the effects of change on the organization and its people, promoting a culture of peer accountability and shared learning;
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless implementation of projects and change initiatives, maintaining transparency and fostering cross-functional engagement;
  • Actively engage with teams to offer insights and guidance on change initiatives, with a special focus on evaluating the effects of change;
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout project execution, offering transparent updates on the progress and adapting change management plans to ensure alignment with our shared goals.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

  • University degree in a relevant field such as HR Management, Psychology, Marketing, or Business Management, which provides a solid foundation for understanding organizational dynamics;
  • 2 years’ work experience in change management using change management methodologies;
  • Proven ability to engage with and present to senior management, plus the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization;
  • Strong ability to exercise good judgment and make sound business decisions;
  • Use of Agile Methodologies;
  • Strong Stakeholder Engagement competency.
  • Trained in Project Management (a plus).
