Finance Analytics Expert

Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics & Automation Expert to join our Analytics & Automation capability area within GBS Finance. This role will focus on supporting the development and implementation of analytical and automation solutions tailored for financial accounting and tax operations, contributing to process improvements and compliance.

Key Tasks:

• Support Development: Assist in the development and implementation of analytical and automation solutions that meet the specific needs of financial accounting and tax operations.
• Compliance Support: Help ensure that solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial accounting and tax operations. Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy and reliability.
• Project Support: Support the execution of projects, ensuring that solutions are developed according to best practices. Provide assistance in troubleshooting as needed.                            
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in learning and development activities to enhance personal skills and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and compliance of financial accounting and tax solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their functional requirements and provide support in addressing business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, tax projects, or related fields, with a background in analytics and automation.-Functional Knowledge: Understanding of financial accounting and tax processes, including regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of analytics and automation technologies & programming languages (SQL & Python), including data analytics platforms, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and related tools and frameworks.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute to strategies that align with business goals.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within teams and with stakeholders.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage with stakeholders and understand their functional requirements.
