Intercompany Delivery Management Operator 

 
   
   

PURPOSE

 

The Intercompany Delivery Management Operator acts as point of contact for customers (internal & external) related to logistics execution activities (intercompany order management, export documentation and transport coordination) in OTC/FMCG and Pharmaceutical industries environment. The Intercompany Delivery Management Operator contributes to on time, cost efficient and GDP compliant transports of raw materials, bulk and finished products and is capable of driving process improvement within the global logistics management.

 

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

 

 

  • Intercompany Delivery Order Management
    • Manages intercompany delivery orders within Sales and Distribution (SD) processes.
    • Responsible for planning and coordinating primary distribution for customers (external or internal)
    • Responsible for the order to invoice cycle, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers in line with agreed metrics maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Transport Planning & Preparation
    • Prepare export documentation necessary for transport execution (e.g. commercial invoice, packing list, weight note, Certificate of Origin, Dangerous Goods certification if required, etc.)
    • Contributes and support customs related activities, provides all necessary documentation for trade/GDP purposes.
    • Optimizes proactively transport activities and addresses in a timely manner any risks on service level adherence.
    • Ensures timely and optimized shipments based on provided prioritization plan in alignment with Supply Management based on established transportation and supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to new routings, lanes or product launches setup 
    • Acts as expert for transportation and logistics supporting new logistics setup
    • Contributes to set up new routings, trade lanes or product launches ensuring adherence to Bayer GxP requirements.
  • Support and lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives   
    • Support or lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process flows (e.g. documents automation or digitalization, communication, sustainability or any capabilities development required in line with Global W&T strategy) 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • University degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain.
  • Working experience (+2 years) in foreign trade, import / export and transport environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP R3 (SD / MM Module), WMS knowledge desirable.
  • Good background in transport planning and general understanding of forecasting.
  • Understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP/GXP environment in FMCG & Pharmaceuticals distribution.
  • Dangerous Goods training and certification is a plus.
  • Very good skills in communication.
  • Proactive skills, team player, result oriented and keen on working in a cross-cultural working environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Logistics/foreign trade.
  • Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management.
  • Proactive approach, action oriented with the ability to solve problems and set priorities.
  • Ability to drive projects with low complexity.
  • Ability to use SAP, Microsoft Office and other software packages.
  • Language: English fluent; German is a plus.
