Operational Lead for R&D - Statistical Programming & Analysis 

 
   
   

 

Purpose: 

Lead business operations across all Statistical Programming & Analysis clusters by coordinating resource management, performance monitoring, compliance, and organizational enablement activities. Partner closely with Chapter Leads, Product Leads, and Mission Leads to ensure efficient execution, transparency, and continuous improvement across the organization while enabling leaders to focus on strategy, capability development, and stakeholder engagement.  

 

Key Tasks: 

  • Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking, dashboard reporting, and performance monitoring across SPA 

  • Coordinate resource planning, capacity management, and operational portfolio oversight 

  • Manage onboarding and operational readiness of internal and external resources, including FSPs 

  • Support quality, compliance, audit readiness, and completion of required training and learning programs 

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate lessons learned, retrospectives, and best-practice sharing 

  • Coordinate execution and tracking of SPA transformation initiatives, capability-building programs, and organizational priorities 

  • Facilitate operational governance processes and leadership reporting across chapters and missions 

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and drive adoption of AI- and automation-enabled operational improvements 

 

Qualifications: 

  • MS/BS in Life Sciences, Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field 

  • Experience in business operations, project management, organizational enablement, or operational excellence 

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI development, performance reporting, and operational dashboards 

  • Experience working in matrix organizations and coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills with ability to drive execution without direct authority 

  • Continuous improvement mindset and demonstrated ability to translate strategy into effective operational processes
