SPA - Innovation Lead

Purpose:

 
Support Statistical Programming & Analysis transformation into a strategic analytics partner by leading and contributing to initiatives that enhance analytical insight, automation and operational efficiency. Accelerate ongoing projects, identify new opportunities, and foster innovation through project management and co-creation with internal and external stakeholders.  

 
Key Tasks:

 
• Create transparency on ongoing digital and transformation initiatives within Statistical Programming & Analysis and maintain clear communication across teams

• Lead and manage ongoing projects by providing analytical and operational assistance to the SPA leadership team, project lead analysts and statistical analysts 

• Collaborate with statistical analysts and project leads to identify and prioritize further opportunities to improve effectiveness and drive efficiencies

• Co-create with SPA communities to design and implement solutions in a highly regulated environment

• Engage with adjacent functions to boost cross-functional collaboration 

• Scan the external landscape for emerging trends, tools, and best practices and derive actionable insights

Qualifications:

• MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field 

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and insights into industry trends and opportunities, especially AI/ML concepts, generative AI and process automation

• Strong can-do attitude delivering tangible outcomes and impact

• Prior experience driving digital, AI/ML, or automation initiatives from concept to implementation in a regulated environment 

• Interpersonal skills with sensitivity for the needs and positions of stakeholders

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and influencing capabilities

• Ability to explain complex topics to a broader technical and non-technical audience
