Sourcing Manager with German Technical Procurement

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing: Lead sourcing activities with external suppliers, communicate supply constraints, and collaborate with Procurement Category Leads on strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, set joint targets, and provide procurement expertise.
  • Supplier Management: Cultivate supplier relationships, develop robust supply agreements, and utilize market intelligence to mitigate risks and enhance competitive advantage.

What You Bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Management.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as a Sourcing Manager, with a strong background in procurement operations or supply chain management, specifically in the Crop Science or Chemical industry or TechCom.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Languages: Proficiency in both English and German is mandatory.
