E2E Supply Network Senior Manager (m/f/d)

This global role sits at the intersection of PS Product and Pharma customer teams to lead end-to-end (E2E) supply management and deliver integrated supply plans that secure reliable patient supply across the product lifecycle. You will balance short- and long-term business outcomes—ensuring service levels, cost efficiency and optimal inventory—while evolving the operating model and driving DSO adoption. As a work leader you will inspire, coach and develop high-performing, diverse planning team(s) and align resources to the highest-impact priorities. The role may be deployed as a Planning Team Lead, E2E Planner or leader of strategic projects/initiatives.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute global supply network strategies aligned to product strategy, commercial models and lifecycle events.
  • Lead long-term supply planning (LTSP) including scenario modelling, capex and sourcing decisions to support portfolio, pipeline and launch outcomes.
  • Oversee Master Supply Plans and “what‑if” scenarios to hit service-level and inventory targets; frame trade-offs and decision options for Product and Customer teams.
  • Drive S&OP governance: review KPIs, facilitate cross-functional trade-offs and ensure timely decisions across PS Product, Pharma customer teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight of critical SCM activities (bridging stocks, CMO/alliance governance, contracts, ERM, logistics) and act as escalation point for supply risks and shortages.
  • Design and implement supply chain approaches for late‑stage developmental and launch products, ensuring SCM input into tech transfers, divestments and operational excellence projects.
  • Empower and guide the bottleneck task force to mitigate shortages, restore stock levels and prioritize remediation actions across the network.
  • Partner with GPEs, GPLs and SMEs to secure tools, systems and reports (SAP/ERP/APO/H2R, OMP or equivalent), master data integrity and planning analytics needed to achieve outcomes.
  • Build capability: mentor and coach planning team members, support capacity & capability requirements, performance calibration/talent pool management, and foster an inclusive culture.
  • Champion DSO principles and change initiatives, directing resources to highest‑impact priorities and enabling cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, economics or equivalent; MBA/Master’s is a plus.
  • Multi-year experience in complex, global supply chain roles (individual contributor or manager) in Life Sciences or FMCG, with exposure to procurement, quality or operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of forecasting, production, inventory management, supply planning, S&OP and logistics.
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle events and regulatory/GxP requirements (e.g., GMP, GDP) and their impact on SCM compliance and decisions.
  • Proven experience with planning/reporting systems and master data governance (SAP ERP/APO/H2R, OMP or equivalents).
  • Data-driven, analytically strong and comfortable using advanced analytics/AI to solve SCM problems and inform trade-offs.
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial thinker who connects the dots, makes decisions under uncertainty and drives future business plans.
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator and influencer with experience working with alliance partners, CMOs and cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Site teams).
  • Inspiring people leader who develops diverse teams, fosters inclusion, manages performance calibration and supports workforce transitions.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
