Associate - Contract Mgmt Operations 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support the Bayer contract lifecycle management for BHC. Provide ongoing professional support and guidance to internal contract officers. Conduct and monitor non-contract documents sealing for BHC. Continuously monitor the proper use of BHC company seals.
  • 20% Contribute to the preparation and negotiation of contracts via the Contract Center-Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS) user interface based on requests and content contribution of Bayer-internal clients. Application of the Contract Center playbooks for processing contract requests, contract revisions, contract implementations as well as ensuring compliance with legal and Bayer internal regulations
  • 20% Daily contract management – review and approve contract applications online (OPERA); check and activate CLMs contract; maintain Contract Storage List; provide consultation on contract issues on daily basis; conduct and monitor the proper use of BHC company seals when chopping contracts.
  • 20% Daily non-contract management - review and approve non-contract applications online (CHOPCHOP); check the correctness of documents approver; review and check the documents before sealing.
  • 15% Daily Seal/License management – ensure the daily sealed documents/contracts will follow BHC functional management process guidelines before affixing seal; maintain and handle BHC seals/licenses; monitor Seal/licenses Lend-out process.
  • 5% Training -- Support Line Manager to organize and conduct professional Contract/Seal/License Management (including OPERA & CLMs) trainings to BHC business users.
  • 20% Admin support – Support PH Legal Head including but not limited to CMT related arrangement, meeting/travel arrangement, ordering stationery. External law firm management. And other support to PH Legal projects. Specific tasks will be assigned by PH Legal Head.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • University degree, preferable in Law or Business Administration (B.S./B.A. or equivalent) with 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in dealing with contracts is desirable
  • Experience in roles which require broad client interaction and coordination
  • Skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good knowledge of document management systems
  • Time management and planning skills which are required for the coordination and prioritization for dealing with numerous contracts at the same time
  • Ability to take the initiative, solve problems pragmatically as well as to adhere to time limits
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven interpersonal skills in combination with strong oral and written communication abilities
