YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- A Category Manager owns these tactical outcomes of the indication
- Micro Enterprise (ME): Product value and technical proposition that ensures customer acceptance Market & crop segmentation to compete in the right Place
- Effective demand generation and digital Promotion Grow absolute IGP through Pricing levers such as GtN planning and seasonal policy 12-36 months S&OP planning / effective inventory management Grow MS% through different GtM (channel, KA, trade etc.)
- Design and implement Goods Flow policies (within a broader company framework)
- A Category Manager owns these strategic outcomes of the indication Micro Enterprise (ME):
- Continue to explore alternative route to MAD to introduce new projects from Bayer pipeline Commercialize innovation compounds through China local partnership
- Life Cycle Management of Bayer core AIs including generic defense, label extension and proximity innovation Grow MS% through portfolio gap-filling and mid-tier expansion
- Ensure launch excellence Shape product supply strategy and optimize COGS
- A Category Manager drives coordination and collaboration of both permanent and dynamic ME team members
- The person supports and coaches related Indication Product Managers and Technical Manager (both permanent ME members) to ensure high performance
WHO YOU ARE
- Education Master degree or MBA in business studies, marketing, agriculture or life sciences
- Skill Strong team management and leadership, strategic and creative "out-of-the box" thinking, good analytical abilities, good communicator and able to work well cross-functionally
- Experience 10+ years demonstrated performance in crop protection or seed businesses, with experience in sales and marketing management
- Demonstrated passion for leading people and delivering results, and a natural talent for building trust and earning respect
- Highly motivated, strong initiative, positive attitude and a willingness to accept the high degree of accountability
- He/she must be willing to travel within and outside China on regular basis
