Communication Manager 




  • To work as Communication Business Partner for Bayer Pharmaceuticals and is responsible for all corporate communication topics and relevant  media activities for the Pharmaceuticals Division in China;
  • To develop and steer yearly communication strategy to support PH transformation (including innovation and local collaborations) and business growth in China as well as the overall reputation of Bayer, which stays aligned with Bayer China and global PH communication guidance
  • To lead corporate communication team to drive and manage key communication campaign and media communication projects/activities to engage key external and internal stakeholders through integrated approaches;
  • To maintain strategic partnership and relations with influential media outlets in China and identify media opportunities and partnerships to maximize public exposure of Bayer as an industry leader and a partner of choice in China;
  • To serve as a key member of issue and crisis management to ensure preparedness and immediate actions taken to mitigate media risks and protect corporate reputation and safeguard license-to-operate.
  • Support strategic transformation project to facilitate employee engagement on PH global business strategy and key change programs, such as, True North/True North Now




  • At least 10 years of solid working experience in corporate communication and public relations, familiar with media environment in China;
  • More than 3 years of working in healthcare-related industry with and a deep understanding of healthcare business and the whole value chain;
  • Bachelor degree or above in Communications, Journalism and other related fields(e.g., Public Health, Marketing);
  • Excellent copy-writing and presentation skills in both Chinese and English
  • Strong commercial focus and business acumen with a sense of customer service
  • Strong strategic thinking, inspiring attitude and interpersonal abilities
  • Being flexible, creative and collaborative
