Head of DM Strategy & Operation
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive channel strategy to secure and maximize value fulfilling the Distribution Management Team mandates in alignment with overall PH China strategy.
- Translate company strategies into mid/short-term Distribution Management strategic plan and year-over-year action plan (which mainly includes pricing policy, framework of commercia policy, selection of distributors and its evaluation system, investment allocation principles. etc.).
- Exploring and formulae Distribution Management strategies with deep insights of brand strategies and channel operations (e.g. portfolios optimization in omni-channels). Steering the strategies effective execution via close collaboration with different functions/ teams.
- Facilitate alignment in our customer priorities, product objectives and operational plans with the cross functional strategic partners. Integrate cross-functional capabilities to continue strengthen organization capability and synergy realization in Customer Engagement Teams.
- Guided by holistic business insights in strategy development and execution, co-drive business strategy especially from transformation perspective by leading operational workstream with Distribution Management Head and developing anticipative business models. Coach the team to always focus on customer and outcome and support the country team to identify and capture market opportunities and operate in a lean and fast manner.
- Lead and drive innovative initiatives and platforms by exploring breakthrough business opportunities, fast converting into pragmatic implementation, and further enlarging the positive effectiveness towards a stronger acceleration of business growth.
- Guide and enable the new ways of working in the team and cross- functionally, including 90-day missions, shared objectives and accountability, dynamic ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Steer operational excellence in the country team by setting up regular review mechanism of effectiveness and efficiency. He / she will also need to optimize efficiencies across brands/indications to maximize our available resources.
- Ensure a fully compliant organization; host regular trainings on all relevant internal and external guidelines and laws; be a role model for compliant behavior and ensure strict compliance is upheld in all business activities, support tools/system development/enhancement that ensure activation across organization can efficiently be done in a fully compliant way.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree and above; Business, Economics, Medicine, Pharmacy or related majors preferred.
- Minimally 8 years in roles of progressive responsibility in Rx with track of record of success; Solid leadership experience in business function is highly valued.
- Demonstrating deep understanding of global and local industry, market and competitive trends in making strategic decisions.
- Solid understanding of health systems, customer segments, regional market dynamics, and KOL development within the therapeutic areas
- Creative mindset and skills to ensure win-win collaboration.
- Excellent command of written and spoken in both Chinese and English
