IT & Digital Product Engineer 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the business strategy needs, the end user (e.g. patients, doctors) needs, market and competitive conditions and distill this into a digital product vision to design and deliver a differentiated product.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for digital products.
• Design, develop, and maintain digital applications, platforms, and systems to meet business needs and enhance customer (e.g. patients, HCPs) experience, continuously monitor, optimize for better performance and scalability.
• Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, documentation and version control.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of digital products, strictly follow the financial budget plan.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies (e.g. Gen-AI/LLM, wearable devices, etc.) and industry trends to propose innovative solutions, advance customer engagement.
• Able to perform ROI analysis for each business case, track the user feedback and ensure the digital product generate the evaluated benefits to business.

WHO YOU ARE

• 5 - 8 years relevant experience, 3+ years industry experience, and consulting or top pharma background is a big plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Python, JavaScript, SQL.
• Strong understanding of digital product development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with mobile/wechat app, cloud platforms, databases, web services, AI and Machine Learning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Has demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects in a global environment with cross team collaboration
• Mandarin is mandatory, fluent in English both written and spoken
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and agile environment
