Sr Tech Consultant 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the business strategy needs, the end user (e.g. patients, doctors) needs, market and competitive conditions and distill this into a digital product vision to design and deliver a differentiated product.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for digital products.
• Design, develop, and maintain digital applications, platforms, and systems to meet business needs and enhance customer (e.g. patients, HCPs) experience, continuously monitor, optimize for better performance and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of digital products, strictly follow the financial budget plan.
• Stay updated with industry trends to propose innovative solutions, advance customer engagement.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, clinical stakeholders, and customer success teams to identify solution requirements and drive appropriate software design decisions.
• Work in accordance to the Bayer Quality Management System and processes for regulated software medical devices.
• Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Integrate with back-end services and APIs to build complex front-end functionalities.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve processes and product development.

WHO YOU ARE

• 5-8 years relevant experience, 3+ years industry experience, and Healthcare IT background is a big plus. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong understanding of digital product development methodologies and best practices.
• Professional experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as Java Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Familiarity with browser testing, debugging, and automation tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Ability to work in an agile/scrum development environment.
• Experience with mobile/wechat app, cloud platforms, databases, web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Has demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects in a global environment with cross team collaboration.
• Mandarin is mandatory, fluent in English both written and spoken.
