YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Visionary that guides the team in defining the outcomes to deliver on the mission.
  • Catalyst that removes roadblocks to facilitate connections and collaboration.
  • Architect that shapes a value creating system to unleash the passion and energy of our people.
  • Coach that helps the team learn and build the capabilities needed to create value for the customer and stakeholders.
  • Serve as Bayer's primary representative in external forums and communications, shaping the policy environment.
  • Lead the interpretation and advocacy of regulatory policies, providing strategic direction to formulate RA positions in response to new policies.
  • Define prioritized regulatory policy topics, planned outcomes and executable tactics in collaboration with RA China Head and the leadership team, and provide guidance on regulatory China strategies.
  • Define and execute external policy strategies to deliver planned outcomes including interactions with key decision makers at regulatory agencies and governments and at the trade association level.
  • Provide regulatory intelligence to support policy initiatives and ensure the broader regulatory and safety function is informed and educated about changes in the regulatory environment.
  • Promote accurate interpretations on regulations and policies to internal stakeholders, and ensure close collaboration with government affairs, value/access, operations, R&D functions and commercial.
  • Manage and direct policy projects by leading cross-functional experts to align internally, support executive-level engagement, and demonstrate leadership externally with key stakeholders.
  • Drive external network and relationship building to ensure policy objectives can be pursued, including giving representation at trade associations like RDPAC, EFPIA China Network etc., and direct engagement with key decision makers.
  • Advocate Bayer’s scientific, medical and regulatory positions on new and existing initiatives to key external decision makers including regulatory agencies like CFDA, CDE, etc., managed care organizations and healthcare professionals.

  • Graduate level scientific or life sciences background in a relevant area, with at least 10-12 years of experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical products or nutritional.
  • A regulatory affairs background with previous work experience in NMPA at division level or high
