Glass Employee Trials 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the R&D crop science team as a crop worker, in Bergschenhoek. This role will manage all the crop work for the glasshouses.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take care of the plants, twisting the plants, leaf cutting, vibrating trusses, bind the plants & crop work for the open field.
• Planting and picking the plants, clean and prepare facilities
• Know how to use heavy machines
• Harvest
• Extraction
• Spraying treatments, watering the plants
• Coordinate / organize work and technical instructing and supervising implementation by employees.
• Ability to guide and train a group of co-workers/temp workers and ensuring qualitative output by checking and steering. Reporting this back to his/her lead.
• Participate in disturbance shift (on call)

WHO YOU ARE

• MBO/HBO background
• Background in agricultural area is preferable
• Hands on mentality, taking ownership, teamplayer, coordinating skills
