As a Near-Term Planner within the Supply Chain Management organization, you will be responsible for translating demand and market needs into the Product Supply organization. You will ensure that supply is aligned with the needs and priorities of the commercial region. In this role, you will work closely with various teams within Supply Chain Management, as well as the Sales organization. You will be part of the global supply planning community and collaborate with regional planners, plant planners, and S&OE to ensure seamless delivery of seeds and a consistent supply message throughout the end-to-end supply chain.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for execution of the supply plan for the region focusing on Consensus Forecast and giving proper support to other regions when needed. Team will be organized by sub regions.
- Develops, manages and executes the replenishment plan for your market product to enable sales targets
- Responsible for executing pull process and taking seed from marketable to MTO/MTS to the DC, manufacturing or customer.
- Responsible for executing supply plans for current year (rolling 12 months) local supply fulfillment. This does include any dependent demand needed for other regions
- Request Stock Transfer Order (STO) to transfer inventory from one place to another.
- Evaluates and monitors storage capacities, replenishment levels and inventory turns to ensure targets can be met within the specified time periods
- Creates and communicates the Near-Term replenishment (treat & pack) plan to cross functional stakeholders on a weekly basis, measures progress against the plan, and manages exceptions against established forward coverage targets
- Responsible for strong collaboration with Supply Planning, Trade and Compliance, Regulatory, Customer Service, Supply Excellence and Plant Operations teams to execute the inventory positioning plan effectively
- Responsible to proper communication within the S&OP process (and to the business) of supply plans, potential issues along with managing scenarios to support a reliable supply to end customers.
- Close collaboration/liaison with S&OE coordination and participates actively in the weekly S&OE meetings by sharing supply information and ensuring that actions are in place to secure business priorities and financial targets from a supply perspective
- Ensures prepacked Inventory is in accordance with phytosanitary and country quality requirements
- Responsible for the phyto check: Analysis of batch phytosanitary attributes vs intended demand country requirements. Generate lab test request signal.
- Identify and resolve any supply constraints and or exceptions
- Manage 3rd party vendor and seed enhancements
- Inventory Management and OPO creation
- Responsible for the regional inventory management from marketable status, ensuring will oversee inventory status along with quality features for the corresponding crops and segments

WHO YOU ARE?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
- 4 years of related experience in business functions or any SCM lead role.
- Strong communication skills including ability to influence peers and leaders.
- Working effectively with teams and networks across geographic, functional and other cultural and organizational boundaries.
- Ability to makes tough and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent decision and problem-solving skills.
- Background in data, analytics and knowledge in applied statistics.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, team-based and matrix environment
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and Spotfire a plus
