Junior Global Pharma Public Affairs Manager (m/f/d) Fixed‑term 12 months 

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Analyze pharma political developments affecting Bayer on national and international level
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of trends, opportunities, threats, and pharma political issues that impact Bayer
  • Contribute to the development of position papers, creation and updating of one-pagers and presentation materials to proactively address identified issues in close partnership with Bayer Pharmaceutical’s Public Affairs team and other departments
  • Supporting to the creation and dissemination of advocacy material across the public affairs community
  • Support in event planning and execution: Planning, coordinating, conducting, evaluating and following up on stakeholder events, e.g., site visits, panel discussions
  • Participation in events with a professional connection to Bayer's political work, followed by the creation of a summary.
  • Contribute to briefings for Bayer senior executives in their political engagements or trade association committee meetings

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • Post-graduate degree in business, science or political science.
  • Very good knowledge on political processes on national, European and international level.
  • Affinity for exploring and understanding the political mechanisms
  • Previous experience working in Public Affairs
  • Independent work style, initiative and organizational skills combined with flexibility, reliability, accuracy, and good analytical skills
  • Open-mindedness and questioning of the status quo
  • High degree of discretion and loyalty
  • Teamwork skills
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
