TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES

 

 

  • Own the business performance in the assigned geography, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term market development.
  • Act as the country business leader for the vegetable seeds portfolio, defining and executing strategic plans aligned with regional priorities.
  • Lead specific strategic segments as a segment champion, bringing deep expertise to accelerate growth and strengthen Bayer’s market position.
  • Define and execute segment-specific strategies, particularly through indirect channels such as plant raisers, to increase penetration and adoption.
  • Develop and drive go-to-market strategies for new product introductions, ensuring successful positioning and commercialization of new materials.
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with plant raisers, driving engagement, loyalty, and long-term collaboration as key enablers of market access.
  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities, including new segments, portfolio expansion, and customer development strategies.
  • Build and manage a robust portfolio pipeline, aligned with market needs, customer demand, and innovation priorities.
  • Drive commercial excellence through high-impact account planning and execution.
  • Leverage data and market insights to guide decisions, anticipate trends, and improve business outcomes.
  • Manage business complexity effectively, balancing financial performance, territory priorities, and resource allocation.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams (marketing, supply, finance, etc.) to ensure successful execution of business strategies.
  • Operate with a strong ownership mindset, ensuring accountability and sound decision-making within the geography.

 

 

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or business management roles within agriculture or related industries.
  • Proven experience in specific vegetable segments tomato and pepper, including knowledge of plant raisers operation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product introduction strategies and market development initiatives.
  • Advanced leadership capabilities, including ownership, decision-making, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex customer ecosystems.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of market dynamics, financial drivers, and strategic planning.
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic actions.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • High adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Availability to travel and work in rural environments.
  • Advanced English (desirable).
