YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Strong product availability for customers based on leading customer service KPI as agreed with business team (CFR) to develop Bayer CH towards #1 supplier through the eyes of the customer
  • Established joined business plans with customer that drive incremental value for Bayer and customer.
  • Full supply transparency for the customer with regards to Bayer CH products availability in short-, mid- and long-term.
  • Ensure VOICE OF CUSTOMERS (thanks to strong customer engagement) is translated back into PRODUCT CATEGORY TEAMS to master their CASH- COST-SERVICE triangle via correct demand signal (target deliverable to PRODUCT TEAM is FCA and FCB)
  • Clear join business building plans (to shape existing and future product portfolio) and product value equation (to enable design-to-value engineering)
  • CASHFLOW: Minimal excess inventory at local Bayer affiliate and customer warehouse including production sites. - COST: Manage local PS P&L via: minimal Finished Goods write- offs in country (return and excess inventory related), cost-to- serve of PS organization and services post ex-works factory/CMO.
  • Sits across multiple countries at regional level to identify untapped opportunities across channels / countries in the Supply Chain and Commercial area and to ensure balanced service levels across customers, company and markets to deliver Win-Win solutions. Exemplary key decisions the role is empowered to take on behalf of CH PS:
  • TRADE TERMS: All supply related aspects of trade-terms (lead- times, MOQs, etc.)
  • PORTFOLIO: Portfolio Optimization & Harmonization.
  • CUSTOMER ALLOCATION / PRIORITIZATIONS - JOINT BUSINESS PLANNING: Any supply aspects / commitment within joint business planning - SUPPLY PLANNING: Support production and deployment plans for internal/external CMOs & sites.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3 to 5 years of experience on Supply Chain Management: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including forecasting, demand planning, S&OP/IBP (Sales and Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning), production planning/scheduling, material management and logistics.
  • Experience on the Pharmeceutical, Consumer Goods, Automotive or related industries (Desired)
  • Advanced English Speaker
  • SAP Knowledge (ERP/APO) advanced knowledge including planning parameters and SNP functionalities.
  • Basic knowledge of demand forecasting for the category, incorporating market trends, seasonality, and other relevant factors to enhance supply chain accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels,both internally (within the local business and regional management team) and externally.
  • Business Acumen: A deep understanding of the local market's business dynamics, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, to effectively align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Acts with customers in mind; Gets firsthand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
  • Problem-solving and Decision-making: Quick and effective problem- solving skills, coupled with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
