At Bayer in Radiology, we believe everyone deserves clear answers about their health. Our end-to-end Radiology solutions are designed to optimise patient outcomes in CT, MRI, CV Angiography and Molecular Imaging for today and tomorrow’s imaging environment.

 

Our products and services play a crucial role in diagnosing a wide range of conditions and assist in procedures such as surgery, biopsy, and radiation therapy, while also aiding in the monitoring of treatment effectiveness. These solutions support the intricate decision-making processes of radiologists, enabling earlier disease management and interventions for patients.

 

Applications Specialists at Bayer are instrumental in translating the benefits of our solutions into real clinical advantages for our customers. This is accomplished through consultations aimed at optimising workflow, enhancing efficiency, ensuring patient safety, and improving image quality. As experts in Bayer’s diverse portfolio - including capital devices, contrast media, radiology informatics, and workflow solutions - this role is essential for knowledge transfer both internally and externally, fostering collaborative development of radiology solutions alongside healthcare providers and ultimately driving commercial success.

 

 

Do something that moves you.

  • Support the Commercial operations of the Radiology business through, the optimisation of the power injection and contrast media protocols and digital workflow solutions.
  • Analyze and improve radiology workflows; interpret injector system and contrast usage data to support efficiency discussions.
  • Provide pre and post sales technical education and advanced applications (clinical and technical) support to healthcare professional end-users to enhance their experience of the Bayer portfolio.  
  • Support appropriate clinical protocol development.
  • Collaborate with Customer Squads and Product Teams to formulate and provide product training and accreditation across the Bayer portfolio of products.
  • Work with OEM partners and industry vendors to resolve issues and evaluate new technologies.
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows and other industry activities in support of commercial activities.
  • Collaborate with the Bayer in Radiology APAC Applications community and other above-country communities to optimise training, best practice sharing and capability transfer.
  • Comply with local pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory bodies as well as adhere to the Bayer’s ethical business practices and code of conduct.    

 

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Degree qualified in Scientific/Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or Radiography. Previous experience in Radiography or Medical Physics will be highly regarded
  • Proven experience in healthcare industry with knowledge of radiology and digital solutions. Experience in medical imaging across multiple modalities; specialist experience highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in RIS, PACS, and EHR systems; strong understanding of imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray).
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Australia and New Zealand.
  • High level presentation skills with any previous training experience are also highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, influence and educate a range of clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a high level of motivation and ability to deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse customer base.
  • The ability to work flexibly, autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines and maintain strong internal relationships to support business activities
