TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administrate resources to carry out nursery and ICB planting, pollination and harvest to secure quality, in-time in-full seed returns.
• Take lead responsibility for field mapping, planting, plot identification, harvesting, data collection and data management with internal IT systems.
• Complete and/or participate in safety inspections/training and comply with all company policies, code of conduct and standard operating procedures.
• Follow up the work Instructions and participate in QMS Internal Audit Supervise and train contractors and seasonal employees on standard operating procedures and tool operations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver detailed experimental protocols that enable advancement decisions by pipelines, breeders, and scientists.
• Provide timely reports on nursery and ICB progress particularly notify supervisors of any significant deviation from plan.
• Establish strong relationships and connections with local and international stakeholders.
• Implement strategies that strengthen commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement for the process.
• Travel up to 15% of the time particularly during peak seasons. 

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor or Engineering degree on agriculture or related science, or non degreed 3 years relevant experience. MSc is a plus.
• Experience with seed technology industry or plant breeding and data analysis.
• Self motivated person with good communication, relationships and Networks.
• Intermediate level of English language is preferred.
• Experience with standard MS Office and at least one software used in scientific data analysis, with ability to quickly learn new software programs and tools.
