The primary responsibilities of this role, Seed Processing Associate, are to:


  • Direct all Plant operational activities to achieve the highest quality seed within the expected dates, while preserving the quantity, its identity and minimizing seed losses. 
  • Maintain a safe, cost-effective, timely, high-quality and within-specs production in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and each project`s established KPIs.
  • Supervise personnel planning, staffing, organization and management (incl. training records, supervision and development of his/her full-time team). 
  • Supply the resources required for the Plant safe and efficient operation.
  • Administer the availability of the installed capacity, by developing and managing a strong preventative maintenance program (PM).
  • Develop Production plans & implementation, as well as Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Manage process control, KPIs & metrics tracking & Dashboard management. 
  • Prepare and communicate production reports and incidents investigation Operate assuring External and Internal regulatory compliance, including environmental aspects of the plant.
  • Support Product Supply seed processing activities.

Required Qualifications:


  • Professional qualified and incorporated to the respective professional college (Required), in the areas of Industrial Engineering, Agronomy, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology or related careers. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in administration of agro–industrial or industrial processes. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising and managing personnel.
  • Orientation to lean tools. 
  • Lean-Six Sigma Certification (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems Availability of working rotating shifts. 
  • English language: Advanced (Oral, Written and Reading).
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • Advanced handling of Microsoft Office 365.
