JOB MAIN PURPOSE

 

The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound handling, storage, inventory control, and transport coordination. The role ensures all materials (finished goods, promotional items, active ingredients, raw and packaging materials) are handled, stored, and recorded in compliance with company standards, HSE regulations, and internal control requirements.

Additionally, the role oversees third-party logistics (3PL) providers, third-party contract workers (on-call), supports procurement activities for Supply Chain Management (SCM), and ensures efficient operational and asset control at the site.

This role will cover Canlubang Warehouse Operations.

 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Warehouse & Distribution Operations

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations for Crop Protection business
  • Oversee inbound processes: receiving, inspection, unloading, and system posting (SAP)
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory accuracy
  • Monitor warehouse capacity and optimize space utilization
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and audit-compliant

2. Transport & Logistics Coordination

  • Supervise loading/unloading (stuffing and unstuffing) operations
  • Coordinate shipment schedules with Demand Planning
  • Ensure safe and compliant transport via accredited providers
  • Monitor performance of 3PL providers and logistics partners

3. Compliance and HSE

  • Ensure adherence to HSE policies, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Monitor compliance of 3PLs, truckers, and forwarders
  • Conduct routine safety checks on warehouse facilities and equipment

4. Inventory Control & Traceability

  • Ensure proper product labeling and Track & Trace implementation (mPins/QR codes)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records aligned with system transactions
  • Support audit requirements with proper documentation

5. Quality Management

  • Serve as focal point for quality-related matters
  • Manage product complaints and coordinate resolution with stakeholders
  • Coordinate product testing with external laboratories
  • Oversee reworking activities with 3PLs/tollers

6. Production Support

  • Manage issuance of bulk, raw, and packaging materials to production
  • Ensure accurate and timely SAP postings

7. Returns Management

  • Lead Good Returns process in coordination with QA and Customer Service
  • Ensure proper validation, documentation, and disposition of returned goods

8. Procurement & Asset Management

  • Perform procurement transactions for SCM using Smartpay
  • Act as Asset Management Lead for SCM, ensuring proper tracking and control

9. Continuous Improvement

  • Lead warehouse and distribution improvement initiatives
  • Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency
  • Manage MOC for new products, including packaging compliance (e.g., DG labeling)

 

YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Agriculture, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years in logistics and warehouse operations
  • At least 3 years in supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in customer service and 3PL management
  • Strong background in safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems (SAP preferred)
  • Logistics and transport coordination expertise
  • HSE and compliance knowledge
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail and audit readiness
