YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Phenotypic Insights Lead, are to:

  • Build a simulation model;
  • Establish a functional phenomics platform and identify a set of key phenotypes for use in modeling;
  • Partner with other groups within Breeding to identify key germplasm for high resolution phenotyping, determine the set of phenotypic metrics that will enable differentiation between genotypes and establish POCs in order to develop a core dataset on that germplasm;
  • Work with others in Phenomics and the testing teams to determine the scalability of any phenotypic metric that is potentially predictive an implement if possible;
  • Support envirotyping needs within Breeding;
