PURPOSE

Optimize protocols for biological and protein production, characterize equipment and support standard production, and support standard production in lab and lab automatization.
 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

• This position will be focusing on the development of cultivation protocols for biologicals and protein production
• The successful candidate will independently review literature, design hypothesis, develop and implement experiments to achieve optimizations of cultivation protocols
• Assessment of critical KPIs of reactors on multiple scale shall be performed.
• Analyze research results, draft reports and effectively communicate with internal partners.
• Help with routine lab operation to ensure a safe operation within the lab.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior hands-on experience on biotechnological lab equipment.
• Familiar with bioreactors and cultivation protocols.
• Proven track record of work within chemical an/or biotech labs.
• Good organization and planning skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team, strong motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
