Site Engineer

PURPOSE

Responsible for the maintenance planning and execution cycle at the site level to ensure that all maintenance programs are implemented within schedule tolerance. This includes managing schedule alignment with all stakeholders and ensuring the availability of spare parts from suppliers, internal workshops, and external services.

MAJOR TASKS

• Plan preventive maintenance and calibration for all assets in all clusters, including laboratory equipment, according to schedule using the CMMS system.
• Ensure adherence to all calibration and preventive maintenance activities, and conduct timely reporting to the engineering and project lead.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (Engineering, SCM, Production, Quality Department, etc.) to schedule preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with the spare parts storekeeper for day-to-day activities and be responsible for the replenishment of spare part stock.
• Optimize engineering spare parts store management with respect to stock-keeping parameters to minimize inventory while ensuring the availability of critical parts.
• Ensure all site spare parts needed for preventive maintenance are available before the implementation schedule.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• At least a D3/S1 degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Operational Management.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Strong computer literacy and digital skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• At least 1 year of experience interacting with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data querying.
• Outcome- and target-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage conflict and ambiguity.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Capable of working under pressure.
