Market Development Representative

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead innovation initiatives by working closely with Sales teams, dealers, and growers to evaluate and successfully introduce adapted products aligned with business objectives.
• Support Sales and dealer teams in generating demand through field activities, trials, grower interactions, and product demonstrations.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain engagement in dealer programs and commercial initiatives.
• Identify market opportunities, assess market size and needs, and develop prioritized evaluation plans that maximize business impact.
• Support commercial planning by identifying opportunities and mitigating risks within the Sales Operational Plan.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen team capabilities and improve the overall customer experience.
• Coordinate and support trial implementation, grower training sessions, and product introduction activities.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders as required.
• Complete all mandatory training and compliance requirements on time.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Business Conduct and Human Rights principles.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in crop evaluation and introduction, with primary expertise in melon and watermelon.
• English proficiency preferred.
• Proven ability to execute demand-generation support activities aligned with business needs.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Willing and able to travel up to 40% across the region.
