TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be accountable, in partnership with commercial and finance, for the overall customer-side WoC development, driving sustainable value growth.
- Develops, implements and steers effective collection strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize overdue. Oversee daily operational activities related to credit, collections and disputes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Acts as business partner that liaises between local stakeholders and customer teams, including but not limited to O2C, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain, to address and manage the financial needs of the customer portfolio effectively.
- Engages proactively with customers seeking payment behavior improvement, negotiates payment plans, and develops and implements financial market solutions to improve performance, enhance business relationships and foster collaboration.
- Participate actively in payment terms discussions with businesses, providing insights for conscious decisions and balance profit-revenue- cash perspectives.
- Serves as the main point of contact for credit management, dispute resolution, and collection activities. Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced service providers against established KPIs to ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensures operational adherence to Bayer Credit & Collections Policy to mitigate credit risks and prevent default losses while promoting prompt payment behavior.
- Advocates for and executes technology and process simplification initiatives, while ensuring that processes are safeguarded to facilitate seamless operations for customers, preventing blocked orders and minimizing overdue/dispute backlogs.
- Engages and collaborate with Global and Regional B2C team to drive enterprise initiatives and projects, implementing process improvements and simplification.
- Steers governance for CATI disputes and deductions resolution within E2E view, supporting and promoting best-in-class processes in CATI Solutions to enhance customer experience, improve efficiency and deliver Cash Flow.
- Supports Audit requests, that liaises with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit requests related to Bill to Cash processes to ensure compliance and transparency.
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in Business Administration/Finance and/or MBA with proven experience in Credit Management, Finance or Equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles with ability to lead operations and implement strategies for efficient B2C processes.
- Strong technical knowledge in credit and collections and portfolio management is required.
- Intermediate-advanced English level is required.
- Strong knowledge of cash collection methodologies, financial instruments, and risk management.
- Solid understanding of E2E O2C processes.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- SAP and Power BI utilization is required.
- Collaboration: foster team collaboration and connect with customers, outsourcing operations, and key stakeholders effectively.
- Outcome-oriented: enhanced opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, cash flow, and minimize negative P&L impacts.
- Change Management: identify optimal resource usage and adapt processes to changing market dynamics and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: communicate effectively to ensure timely escalation regarding customer and business needs for cash acceleration and process improvement. Technical skills.
