Integration Engineer (SAP S/4 & BTP)

We are looking for a SAP Integration Engineer to support and implement technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Satellite Applications & Systems.

The ideal candidate brings solid technical expertise in the latest SAP integration technologies and is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered tools to work more effectively.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate across functional teams and global stakeholders to support operational and project needs.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Integration Support & Implementation

• Support and implement technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Satellite Applications/Systems.
• Ensure data consistency, system interoperability, and reliable integration processes.

2. SAP BTP Integration Services

• Configure and customize SAP BTP integration services, APIs, and connectors using the SAP Integration Suite, including:
  • Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • API Management
  • Event Mesh
  • Cloud Transport Management
  • Cloud ALM

3. Integration Analysis & Execution

• Analyze integration requirements and implement integration strategies to support efficient and effective integration processes.
• Contribute to the delivery of scalable and reliable technical solutions.

4. Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Support

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Support issue resolution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay current on SAP BTP features, integration best practices, and SAP’s embedded AI capabilities.
• Leverage AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar to enhance delivery quality and efficiency.

6. External Collaboration

• Collaborate with external IT Operations suppliers and SAP within the RISE with SAP framework.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical SAP integration, with a focus on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in a regulated (GxP) environment is a plus.

Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of SAP BTP services, including:
  • SAP Integration Suite
  • Event Mesh
  • Cloud Transport Management
  • Mobile Services
  • Cloud ALM
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP BTP integration services.
• Technical skills and/or certification in SAP BTP, including:
  • API Management
  • event-driven architecture

Integration & Delivery

• Knowledge of integration methodologies such as:
  • ETL
  • SOA
  • microservices
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies is a plus.

AI & Modern Tooling

• Comfortable using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar as part of the daily workflow.

Communication & Collaboration

• Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in international or cross-cultural teams is a plus.

Languages

• Fluent in English (required)
• Spanish is a plus
• Portuguese is an additional advantage
