Mexico Agronomy Lead 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities: 

• Provide leadership to the Market Development organization within the sub-regions by leading a team of MDRs and supporting them in providing technical and market recommendations for product characterization, positioning, demand generation and customer value quantification across the portfolio of vegetable hybrids and traits commercially suitable for the area.
• Leverages competencies to develop people and teams ensuring best in class delivery of products, innovation and knowledge transfer.
• Administers financial resources against prioritized tactics to deliver on business goals.
• Leads cross functional collaboration (Sales, Breeding, Marketing and Key Accounts) driving alignment between innovation and customer needs. Collaborates with Regional Market Development Leadership team to develop strategy aligned to business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborates with the marketing and sales organizations, including product training, product valuation for pricing discussions, and product performance inquiries with the goal to secure aggressive growth for the New Variety Introductions (NVI’s) and Market Extensions (ME’s).
• Creates business insights to influence leadership and increase effectiveness of the market development team.

Who You Are: 

1. Bachelor or MS degree in Horticulture, Agronomy or related discipline Multiple
2. (5+) years’ experience in horticulture or related field
3. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, developing talent & building effective teams, cultivating innovation, managing through ambiguity & driving vision and purpose, customer oriented
4. Must be able to handle both strategic analysis and operational plans
5. Fluent English
