Major Tasks Purpose:
The jobholder is responsible for sourcing all technical goods and services, including CapEx requirements and execution, for the Consumer Health Site in Myerstown, PA. The jobholder drives category strategy execution & implementation and ensures alignment with agreed global category and sourcing strategies. The jobholder manages procurement sourcing activities and oversees contracts for all indirect procurement demands at the site. The jobholder is responsible for stakeholder and supplier management within the region or for specific projects. The jobholder drives the function toward greater and more sustainable procurement effectiveness, supporting the company’s business growth strategy.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. CapEx Project Site Procurement:
   Leads and coordinates all investment demands and sourcing requirements for the site, including mid to long-term planning of sourcing requirements for all technical goods and services.

2. Category Management:
   Contributes to the development of the global category strategy; Implements categories, strategies, and initiatives for his/her materials and services, ensuring alignment, compliance with Procurement guidelines, as well as other internal/external process standards and delivery of required business performance in his/her region.

3. Stakeholder Management:
   Understands business needs & engages with regional and local stakeholders to meet their priorities and requirements, building effective, trustworthy, personal, and virtual relationships with key regional/country stakeholders.

4. Supplier Management:
   Manages supply agreements & contracts. Monitors and controls contractual agreements and clauses over the entire lifecycle and minimizes exposure to contractual risks in external relationships through the usage of terms and conditions aligned with the legal function. Provides country-specific market intelligence to mitigate supply risk, gain a competitive advantage, and make better business decisions. Continuously conducts detailed supplier and supply market analysis at the country level, looking at facts and indicating market trends in the supply base and technology. Manages supplier relationships and implements supplier management principles in the supply base; builds relationships and improves supplier performance. Incorporates the company’s responsibility and commitment to sustainable business practices into the category of supplier relationships and ensures compliance through reports, audits, and improvement plans.

5. Sourcing:
   Plans and executes sourcing events to create a competitive advantage, e.g., spend reduction, supply security, and/or time-to-market. Prepares supplier negotiations, awards suppliers, and conducts post-negotiation debriefs. Collaborates with external partners to conduct a sourcing event, and translates results of the sourcing strategies, initiatives, and projects into How Docs to enable efficient processing.

Key Working Relationships:

• Internal:
  Reports directly to Head of Procurement CH NA; Regional Engineering and Product Supply Community; and Procurement internal relations with SSO and Governance & Enabling.

• External:
  Collaborates and manages interface with external service providers for his/her area of responsibility; External category-specific industry.
