Enterprise Product Manager 

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Enterprise Product Manager to support the Crop Science R&D organization within the Velocity Ecosystem.

Enterprise Product Managers own the digital product strategy and vision for groups of applications in the Material Identification & Traceability Unit within the CS IT Product Pipeline. This role involves developing scalable Velocity solutions designed to support Crop Science R&D digital workflow enablement. You will also play a critical role in facilitating data-driven decision making by enhancing the positioning and visibility of the product performance. Enterprise Product Managers own multiple or complex digital products from conception, through launch and retirement. In addition, the Enterprise Product Manager develops the vision, product strategy, and roadmap to execute upon empowering business stakeholders in crop science to make informed decisions within their processes and workflows.

The preferred location for this role is Creve Coeur, MO, but residence-based candidates in the US will also be considered based on needs of the business.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Enterprise Product Manager, are to:

• Understand and contribute to the digital product vision and design to deliver a differentiated offering often catering to multiple business units and having broad business impact;
• Have a deep understanding of Crop Science R&D workflows and processes;
• Align people, processes, and technology to provide the optimal end-to-end experience and deliver the most value to the company;
• Influence strategy and execution for multiple products, multiple workflows, multiple platforms, across multiple business units for digital products owned and managed by you;
• Lead and engage others in continuous discovery activities to evolve the digital product strategy to meet changing business needs or to leverage new technologies that will enhance the digital product and deliver better business outcomes;
• Identify and partner closely with software engineers, data engineers, designers and other members of the digital product team to direct the development of the digital product considering dependencies of multiple digital products in the ecosystem;
• Make decisions regarding the digital product roadmap and priority of items on the digital product backlog leveraging a deep understanding of the business and technical dependencies while balancing investments from multiple business units;
• Responsible for the content and quality of the digital product releases, collaborating with Product Teams to establish a launch plan to ensure usage and adoption while balancing the needs of different user groups across multiple business units globally;
• Manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating the product vision, strategy and roadmap to business partners and key business stakeholders;
• Monitor user feedback and metrics to create solutions and drive better user experience and business value.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of experience in digital solutioning OR High School Diploma with 7-8 years of experience in digital solutioning;  
• Experience in strategically delivering software solutions;
• Experience in agile software delivery;
• Strong communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence working in a cross functional team, building relationships with engineering teams and business stakeholders;
• Experience in the business domain relevant to the digital product is desirable.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $118,196.00 – $177,294.00.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
