Industrial Turf & Ornamental Brand Manager 

 
   
   

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Industrial Turf and Ornamental Brand Manager, are to: 

 

  • Lead the development of the three-year strategic plan for the Industrial Turf and Ornamental business;
  • Set marketing and business development strategies to address
  • Short, mid, and long-term goals;
  • Define, develop, and implement marketing programs, branding, public relations and communication initiatives as part of the overall marketing plan for Industrial Turf;
  • Define, develop, and implement market research;
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprised of marketing, product development, regulatory, supply chain, formulation development, packaging technology, customer service, and legal to drive new product development and product changes;
  • Manage the product portfolio to include Life Cycle Management, Portfolio Consolidation / Rationalization / Optimization to enhance overall profitability and growth opportunities;
  • Work closely with Commercial Operations, Key Account Teams to establish and maintain consistency between Brand Strategies, Marketing Plans and Commercial and Channel Strategies and support the sales activities;
  • Coordinate all contracts and agreements with internal and external vendors (e.g. for lead actives) for assigned market segments in close cooperation with Strategic Procurement and Business Development;
  • Manage brand pricing, marketing, expenses, and budgets assigned to the position and support the annual budgeting processes as well as other global or local projects.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar with 6+ years of relevant business experience, preferably in the Industrial Turf and Ornamental markets;
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills that lead to innovative and timely decisions;
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills to ensure positive relationships with key internal / external stakeholders;
  • Strong financial skills paired with sound commercial acumen;
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively inform and influence sales and product management teams;
  • Comfort with developing business recommendations with limited business information.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master in Business Administration.
