Maintenance Specialist-Creve Coeur, MO 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Maintenance Specialist-Creve Coeur, MO, are to: 

• Manages lab equipment operations and is responsible for maintaining equipment and automated systems to meet lab testing demands;

• Works very closely with lab personnel, other engineering teams, and third party vendors to maintain lab equipment;

• Testing North America Row Crop Quality Assurance North America Vegetable Quality Assurance North America Manufacturing Plant Biotechnology;

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED);
• Ability to develop and deploy automated solutions in a lab environment;
• Knowledge of basic mechanical systems (electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.);
• Ability to develop a high level of trust within your team, business partners, leadership, and other key stakeholder groups;
• Detailed oriented with the ability to multitask in a high throughput environment;
• This position may require a change in shift hours Weekend and overtime work as required; 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Associate degree or equivalent certifications in related field 2+ years of experience working with laboratory equipment;

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $64,080.00 - $96,120.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
