Patrol Officer - Creve Coeur, MO 

Position Overview:

As a Patrol Officer, you are responsible for proactively safeguarding site properties and handling calls for security services. You serve as a liaison with police or other law enforcement agencies on mutual problems, respond to fire alarms, and assist in the evacuation of employees in emergency situations. You prepare clear and accurate computer-generated reports of incidents and other activities, ensuring the protection of employees, physical assets, intellectual properties, and information assets.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform mobile patrol of site within geography of responsibility on roadways and parking lots;
• Protect sites from trespassers or illegal entry;
• Protect against damage or theft of company property;
• Investigate and respond to calls for service;
• Provide emergency services and rescue, CPR, and first aid during sudden illnesses or injury;
• Respond to intrusion and equipment alarms;
• Conduct initial investigations of accidents or crimes against company property or employees;
• Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity and professionalism;
• Prepare appropriate report documentation;
• Think independently, react to changing conditions, and make sound decisions based upon existing circumstances;
• In the event of an emergency, maintain order and the safety of employees and visitors;
• Support Executive Protection as needed and be willing to travel to perform support;
• Perform other tasks as requested;
• This is an armed position.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Law enforcement, military, and/or corporate security experience;
• Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to prepare clear, succinct, accurate, professional, and timely written communications;
• Ability to maintain all certifications and training as required by jurisdiction of authority and possess a valid driver's license;
• Experience in basic computer skills;
• Ability to work rotating shifts and available for overtime and weekend shifts;
• Ability to work in excess of the normal eight-hour day when necessary;
• Must meet the requirements for the carry of a firearm as stipulated under the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) aka HR 218.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $42,985.60 to $64,478.40. Additional

compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include

health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market

data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and

certifications, and other relevant factors.
