Principal BizDevOps Lead 

Position Overview:

In this role, you will leverage your extensive research and knowledge of industry best practices to co-create solutions with teams based on their unique circumstances. You will provide high-touch consulting to help teams develop and apply the behaviors and skills necessary for success, coaching them until they can demonstrate these skills independently. As a key player in our organization, you will work across platforms to design common models and practices, providing guidance and coaching on new ways of working. Your commitment to continuous improvement will adapt our delivery to the constantly evolving business and organizational changes. You will be responsible for the concept and delivery of living documentation, documenting business intent and changes over time, and managing agile ceremonies such as quarterly release planning, roadmap creation, and vision. You will partner with and advise leaders on organizational designs, process, and culture changes that enable business agility.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibilities of this role, Principal BizDevOps Lead, are to:

• Recognize opportunities to further develop behaviors and skills that improve teams' agility;
• Leverage industry best practices to co-create solutions with teams based on their unique circumstances;
• Provide high-touch consulting to help teams develop and apply behaviors and skills, coaching them until they can demonstrate these skills independently;
• Coach teams to develop rapidly by testing and learning different techniques with a "Safe to Try" mentality;
• Design common models and practices across platforms;
• Provide guidance and coaching on new ways of working;
• Help teams understand the business (what) with the technical (how);
• Coach teams on interpreting business needs and translating them into solutions;
• Focus on continuous improvement of delivery adapted to evolving business and organizational changes;
• Manage agile ceremonies such as quarterly release planning, roadmap creation, and vision;
• Advise leaders on organizational designs, process, and culture changes that enable business agility;
• Maintain the Platform handbook, aligned with industry best practices;
• Develop and implement operations KPIs for CSA&A services, managing and reporting performance.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Experience leading and guiding people and/or project-level leadership experience;
• Experience working with or leading agile teams;
• Experience with agile tools and techniques;
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels, including senior leadership teams;
• High degree of coaching and mentorship experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of IT industry or equivalent experience;
